Dr Fung Victor Kwok King will no longer by an independent non-executive director at the company with effect from the conclusion of the annual general meeting on 11 June 2014. He also ceases to be a member of the audit committee and strategy and budget committee.

In a statement, Dr Fung made clear that he has no disagreement with the board and that he is not aware of any pending matters that need to be brought to the attention of shareholders. 

With this change, the board now has eleven members, led by Tian Guoli as chairman.
